Family Portrait of A Dog that passed away
Marina Kloppel is a top-producing realtor in Tampa Bay with the Coastal Properties Group. I had the pleasure of photographing her business portrait for Tampa Real Producers Magazine.
Dog Petter passed away a week after the family was photographed
Marina is an avid animal lover. Among one of the 5 charities, she supports Florida Poodle Rescue and personally adopted 5 poodles. They are all adorable. Along with her husband Joe they also have 3 chickens creating a perfect family portrait.
We scheduled her photoshoot fairly quickly. I am happy that we did because a week after the photoshoot Pepper, an adorable gray poodle has passed away. It was sudden and not at all planned.
I always do my best to photograph individual portraits of each family member when I do a group portrait. This time the individual portrait of Pepper proved to be a very special one. From what seemed to be yet another image of a sweet dog of which we may have thousands on our mobile devices, is now a family treasure which will be displayed and honored for years to come.

About Allie Serrano
My name is Allie Serrano and I am the owner of Allie Serrano Portraits, LLC. I was born in the heart of Europe in the Czech Republic. It is a land filled with rich country, history, and romanticism, a place where things are handcrafted, one-of-a-kind art, heirloom antiques are created and celebrated. This world continues to influence me to this day. As a little girl, I loved playing dress-up with my sister. I grew up having read hair and I was bullied for that. So, it is not surprising that today as a portrait photographer I have a burning desire to lift the confidence in everyone I meet, to change the world through beautiful portraits, to impact the world around me, and to tell the stories of the most incredible people I meet along the way. I can’t wait to meet you and tell your story with a portrait
