Hollywood Glam is Back at 2021 Met Gala
After Covid2020 and 2021 when most of us have been existing in leggings and sweat pants, Hollywood Glamour is back. Last night, 9/13/21, many celebrities have attended the 2021 Met Gala and dressed up in their best avant-garde wardrobe.
Usually, the Met Gala is in May but due to Covid it was postponed and it fell right in the middle of fashion month.
It feels good to see the gowns of the Hollywood Glamour back. I must say I’ve missed it and I bet you all did too. Even if we just watch from the sidelines of our TVs. so, let’s talk about it, which gowns and looks were your favorites?
I must say my biggest favorite is every single one of these for various reasons. There were many others, of course, and you are welcome to go to Vogue and see all the others, as posted here.
I love Anok Yai for the black and white elegant gorgeous beauty look. I love Mary J Blige for the gold elegant gown, totally gorgeous, I love the Irina Shayk flower gown, I feel very inspired by that. Lil Nas X totally killed it with the 3step look, I love all 3 of these. And of course, Iman in Harris Reed is a stunning gown which I totally want to recreate one day. Jennifer Hudson looks absolutely stunning in the red gown by AZ Factory. And Barbie Ferreira is totally rocking the pearl gown by Jonathan Simkhai. Gorgeous. Another one of my favorites is Kendall Jenner in the see-through dress. I love that look or a cross-over from boudoir to glamour.
Absolutely amazing. I know that these are celebrities, but haven’t you always wanted to feel like a Goddess or a Celebrity? Having a custom gown designed just for you, have your hair and makeup done by a professional stylist, and be photographed in the gorgeous gown looking absolutely stunning?
I can do that with our photoshoot experience. Find out more about it on our website here.
About Allie Serrano
My name is Allie Serrano and I am the owner of Allie Serrano Portraits, LLC. I was born in the heart of Europe in the Czech Republic. It is a land filled with rich country, history, and romanticism, a place where things are handcrafted, one-of-a-kind art, heirloom antiques are created and celebrated. This world continues to influence me to this day. As a little girl, I loved playing dress-up with my sister. I grew up having read hair and I was bullied for that. So, it is not surprising that today as a portrait photographer I have a burning desire to lift the confidence in everyone I meet, to change the world through beautiful portraits, to impact the world around me, and to tell the stories of the most incredible people I meet along the way. I can’t wait to meet you and tell your story with a portrait
