Couples Boudoir Photoshoot is a great way to capture the love between the two people in the relationship. It is my personal favorite to photograph.
One day I had a client come to my studio and talk to me about capturing a sexy boudoir portrait of her for her husband as a celebration of their 10-year wedding anniversary. In the past, I have been focusing on ladies giving them more confidence through an empowering photoshoot that they enjoy and capturing stunning portraits of themselves. I have noticed, however, that their partners always felt a little left out.
I always say that a woman should do a boudoir photoshoot for herself and never as a way to seek the approval of someone else.
This specific client has a career, grown children, and she’s been happily married for over 10 years. A normal family just like yours. During our consultation, I suggested trying something different. How about we do a couples photoshoot? We capture a portrait of you, a portrait of him, and a portrait of you together?” She was ecstatic.
They have a special love, these two. They have been together for 10 years and the love is still very much there between them. And what great experience would this be for them as a couple? Being photographed is a great experience for any one person. To be able to share that with the one you love is a whole other level of fun.
