I painted a new red backdrop

Many of my clients are looking for variations in terms of portraits I can capture of them. The red color is a popular color I often photograph my ladies, especially for a glamour or boudoir portrait. So instead of spending hundreds or thousands of dollars for a professionally painted photography backdrop, I decided to paint one myself.

This is not the first time I have painted a backdrop. Most of my backdrops are hand-painted. This red backdrop will be added to my collection of options my clients can use to be photographed against. The Red color is so sexy and for ladies that would love to be portrait as confident and powerful, this backdrop will be a great option for exactly this kind of a look.

Imagine wearing a red or black gown or a sexy lingerie outfit against this backdrop? I can 🙂 And YOU will look fabulous. Let’s look at how I painted the backdrop and some ways you can be photographed 🙂

About Allie Serrano

My name is Allie Serrano and I am the owner of Allie Serrano Portraits, LLC. I was born in the heart of Europe in the Czech Republic. It is a land filled with rich country, history, and romanticism, a place where things are handcrafted, one-of-a-kind art, heirloom antiques are created and celebrated. This world continues to influence me to this day. As a little girl, I loved playing dress-up with my sister. I grew up having read hair and I was bullied for that. So, it is not surprising that today as a portrait photographer I have a burning desire to lift the confidence in everyone I meet, to change the world through beautiful portraits, to impact the world around me, and to tell the stories of the most incredible people I meet along the way. I can’t wait to meet you and tell your story with a portrait 🙂
