Session Fee

what is the diference between a session fee and a photoshoot deposit

The difference between a Session fee and a deposit is that a session fee is charged as a separate payment to secure the photoshoot. Some studios charge a separate session fee and it usually does not include images or credit toward images. Please make sure you ask the photographer what it includes as it may be different with each studio.

In my studio, Allie Serrano Portraits, I ask for a non-refundable deposit that is in full applied to the final invoice. In other words, it is not a separate payment, and it is a part of the total cost of the images, collections, and or products.
